Exodus 36: 2-5 (ESV)
2 And Moses called Bezalel and Oholiab and every craftsman in whose mind the Lord had put skill, everyone whose heart stirred him up to come to do the work. 3 And they received from Moses all the contribution that the people of Israel had brought for doing the work on the sanctuary. They still kept bringing him freewill offerings every morning, 4 so that all the craftsmen who were doing every sort of task on the sanctuary came, each from the task that he was doing, 5 and said to Moses, “The people bring much more than enough for doing the work that the Lord has commanded us to do.”
This artwork was inspired by the discussion at our first session. Despite our busyness, our age, or any other factors, God has made us to be wonderfully creative, and there is no time like the present to bring our treasures to Him.

As numerous as the stars
That fill the dark blanket of the midnight sky,
Your blessings I cannot fathom
Is there a limit? Is there an end?
You tell me gently ‘No’, my friend.
Just trust and believe, don’t lose hope in me.
Look up at my promise, and
As much as you give to Me,
More will I in turn release to thee.
Inspired from the verse, this sketch represents how we, God’s workers, who live in a dark world are to use the gifts and blessings he has given us to glorify him & point others towards Him, the great light. This is represented by the humans tangled in a massive, dark web, using torches powered by the light, to point towards their source, making it shine even brighter.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. “ John 15:6
When we look upwards at a tree, I am reminded that like Jesus, trees give rather than take. They give life and beauty. They give shade and rest, food, and protection to all the animals they shelter. Our Heavenly Father provided us with a Saviour in the person of Jesus Christ, and He draws all of us to Him, under His loving care and protection.
