Our focus of activity varies hugely, according to what we sense God wants to do in the local context.
Betel
Betel began in Madrid, Spain almost three decades ago when a small group of WEC International missionaries began to care for the needs of a few drug addicts and marginalized people. Today its program and communities can be found in over 100 urban areas in 24 nations.
Millions of children are suffering pain and trauma – war, sexual exploitation, HIV/AIDS, child labour, poverty and famine. Through community and church-based projects that demonstrate Jesus’ love, Rainbows of Hope seeks to restore children with the gift of hope.
A growing number of our workers express their ministry through media and the arts: drama, storytelling, dance, visual art and music– blending gospel songs with the music of local cultures.
