Session 18: HOME

Ezekiel 36:8-11 (ESV)
“But you, O mountains of Israel, shall shoot forth your branches and yield your fruit to my people Israel, for they will soon come home. For behold, I am for you, and I will turn to you, and you shall be tilled and sown. 10 And I will multiply people on you, the whole house of Israel, all of it. The cities shall be inhabited and the waste places rebuilt. 11 And I will multiply on you man and beast, and they shall multiply and be fruitful. And I will cause you to be inhabited as in your former times, and will do more good to you than ever before. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

A prayerful response to Ezekiel’s prophesy of God’s concern to His people; to restore and renew, to multiply and prosper. In trials for a time such as these, it’s an assurance that HE IS THE LORD, He is preparing a place to bring His people HOME..
Through the process of dabbing on colours, I thank God with each stroke, in remembrance of His presence with me throughout my numerous trips to the high mountains for prayer missions.

This is based on Ez 36:8-11, a new beginning, flowers and homes, no trees yet… as I was doing it, Noah’s story came to mind. Hence the bird, turning and looking at God’s love falling forth. The earth, our home, God’s gift to us to care for as it cares for us.
